I might as well go on about my tattoo story,
I was 18 and stationed in guam 1960 and started lifting weights and got to be quite the cocky boy, strutting around like a banty rooster. out drinking one night and one of my friends wanted a tattoo and I was thinking the same thing so we hit the local parlor and while he was getting a pussy little rose on his calf I was looking at the top row $250-300 scenes, when asked if I found one yet I said (with my chest stuck way out and my thumbs marking the spot) How much would it cost to get a flying eagle clear across my chest.

I've got a tattoo horror story...
About 6 years ago I got this one done, I was ecstatic with how it came out. It was better than I thought it could be.

It is only about 5 inches long on my upper arm.

Two years ago, I had some other work done, by someone who (after the fact) seemed like kind of an idiot, not a asshole, but a real simpleton. This was NOT the guy that originally did the girl. Most Artists in general have a different way of looking at shapes etc. and if you watch them work, you can't understand how they see things that aren't there until it is done and you are blown away. Well, this guy had a really tough time grasping what I was talking about. Anyway, while he had the needles tainted with my juices, I asked him if he could go ahead and write the name "Lily" in the cord of the phone that she is talking on. I figured "there is NO way this guy could screw this up." Well, I was wrong. The guy told me he was a big fan of pinups, so I thought he'd do OK with this simple instruction. He adds to the FLAT phone cord with CURLY Q cord, which I wasn't thrilled about, and in the process, got all fancy with the cord. I didn't realize it until after I got home...but if you look long enough, the "wrap around" looks like more of a "strap on." It never really pissed me off, I think it is pretty funny, and believe it or not, you can meet alot of chicks with a hermaphrodite tattooed on your arm, maybe they just feel sorry for me...I'm having the "junk" covered up in October, I'll see what the artists have in mind, but this time- no freehand.
