I would just like to take this opportunity to extend my condolences to our good buddy Roger Jetter whos mother passed away last Sunday.
Words can't make the hurt and pain go away but can maybe ease the heartache. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Dan and the rest of your family and friends.

Just put Mom on a plane to visit my brother in Dallas. 85 and still lives by herself on the farm. It will be tough when she goes. Lost Dad about eight years ago. Keep you in our prayers for sure. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Many thanx everyone...tuff isn't the word. Mom was four months shy of 87 years old...and quite active right up to her final hours...good old Iowa living I think. I only hope I'm as active at 87 and live as long.

What a loss, no matter what time of year (but must be especially difficult during the holidays!). But when you're feeling the worst over it, remember: she lives on through your qualities! It's helped me get over losing Dad.
You're in my thoughts and prayers, Friend. PM me whenever you need to write about it.
Sorry, I wish you the best.

I'm sorry for the loss of your mother. Just like Jimmy said "It's tough to lose your mom whatever the circumstances". I lost my mother in 1991 to a car/train accident. She was only 62. It happened late at night and nobody knows why. Every once in a while, the loss and not knowing why is still tough to deal with. She will live forever in my memories. I pray your mother will too.
You and your family are in my prayers.
