Here goes again for a friend. Working on some kind of a old mopar track rod. Question is .. does that type of front end need any kind of radious rods or what ? TIA

To summarize, yes. Needed to locate the axle about the transverse axis. Many use split bones, although hairpins or four-bars will work as well. Darrell Zipp uses four-bars on his; as I recall, his competitor with the model A roadsters uses hairpins. Both have had ink in magazines enough that you can find some reference pics.

If not,you will get a " 1/4 epileptical front".....
Guess the leaves can be mounted out wider on the aksle, than the frame, that will give some sideway support. But u still need some bars of some kind.
