What do the stars under the username mean? How do you get them?

I'm not sure whether the number of stars under your user name is directly related to how fast your car is, or the coolness of your hair.

my handle wont accept star ratings (not that i care for them /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif) just thought its weird.

I am in the same boat as you are RealGone,sortof........ I have hair down to my ass,hippy style,and a small block DODGE
