I currently have three 20-30's roadster projects (30 RPU, 27 model T, and this 29 roadster) so I need to get rid of one of them and this 29 roadster is on the chopping block, really would like to do some trading with someone for speed equipment, running or near running wagon, suburban, or a mid 30's coupe project, 40's convertible project. All can be supplemented with some cash either me paying you some or you paying me some depending on value of trading items. I also have other things I could swap Latham supercharger, dashs, pedal assemblies, wheels so lets do some horse trading.
So here are picture of the 29 Roadster project mocked up. It is a boxed model a frame old job would need to be cleaned up to be show quality but a solid frame. The front end is a 36 ford axle, spring and bones. The bones could be split or a crossmember added and kept unsplit. The rear is a narrowed 9” with 4 bar setup need coilover shocks (not included) The rear need a third member and the axles shortend but is set up to roll around. The flat head is a 51 pickup engine and is stuck and is attached to a 50 merc overdrive transmission. The motor is not mounted but does have a transmission mount installed. The body is rough someone started modifying and patches, floors. The work is amateur but seems safe. The driver door is tacked to the body but hinges are there. Passenger door had a skin that has been made and an inner skin that needs to be fixed or new doors could be had. There is an aluminum louvered deck skin but no inter structure. The body also has rumble hinges included. Other parts include a mustang radiator and a stock model A both are good but would need to be modified for the flatty. The seats are 30 sedan buckets. There is a windshield frame but now posts, I have a set of pedals a 40 Zephyr steering column and box not mounted. Overall there are most major components to make a nice period hotrod that would be a bit rough around the edges. Please note the rear tires need to bigger bias plys to look right but all I had were there that fit. I have a registration for the car but no title as the state it came from did not have titles, should be okay but may need to get a bond for the title.
