Keep in mind, the '55 and '56 rears used different bearing and what not than the '57 to '64 rears. Not trying to hijack your thread, just some info for you.

Hi there, I know an old fellow that has some Olds cars yet. I think he has the rear you are looking for and has most of the car yet. He is located south of Easton off route 611, we were there several times and he does not have the phone anymore and he might sell you the rear.
