finally found a decent set of bike lift plans on the internet and I think I am gonna try and build one. All the dimensions were metric and I'm not too savvy on that so can someone convert these figures for me??

bolts - M12 x 128mm (?????)
square tube - 50mm x50mm x 3mm (2" x 2" x 3/16 wall???)
plate - 5mm (1/4" plate???)

Thanks-

Here's an online metric conversion calculator:

25.4 mm in 1 inch
12.7 mm equals 1/2"
1 mm is approx. .040"

so 50 x 50 x 3 tube is approx. 2" x 2" x 1/8"
5 mm plate is just over 3/16"
M12 x 128 M means Metric,12 mm dia,128 mm long.
So a 1/2" x 5" bolt would do it.
