selling my comet and all the parts i have accumulated over the past 8 months. included is the complete 65 Caliente, 2 door, hard top. this car is not running and the front clip has been removed to begin work on the front end. the car needs floor pans replaced, all interior replaced and paint and some body work. there is also some rust around the roof posts and drip rails. the car was originally an automatic on the column, but have all the parts to convert to 4 speed.
lots of upside to this car though. it is complete, minus a few miscelaneous parts but many extra parts to get you on your way. it is a clean canvas to build whatever car you prefer. included is the following parts:
1 - complete, good running 289 with mild cam, wieand accelerator single plane intake, holley 750 dual line/double pumper, pro comp ready to run ignition. pulled out of a daily driven 65 mustang 4 speed car.
2 - edelbrock torker II, single plane intakes
1 - 750 cfm double pumper/dual line holley
1 - 650 cfm double pumper/dual line holley ( has a broken base plate but is interchangable with a 750, i believe)
1 - disassembeled 289, standard crank and bore, needs building, otherwise in very good condition
1 - Borg Warner T-10 4 speed tranny, built and ready to run
1 - original style, like new, hurst shifter and new installation kit for a 65 comet
1 set of '70 windsor heads, mildly ported, screw in studs, guide plated, 196/160 valves (no springs) aluminum roller rockers, ready for springs and bolt on
1 - 8" posi trac unit with 3:25 gear, complete and ready to bolt in
1 - reconditioned set of 4 speed pedal hangers with pedals, new pads, new linkage from the pedals to the clutch fork still in their packages, new equalizer bar and mounting hardware, rubber boots
1 - new clutch/pressure plate, new flywheel
1 - new front disc brake conversion already installed
new exhaust system installed
all glass is in good condition
most crome trim included
complete c-4 transmission included
1 - new set of goodyear tires mounted on 14" gt style wheels
1 - set of late model mustang wheels with ford spinners(1999-2004)
i am sure i have left out some parts but i will list them as i remember. be sure and look at the picture link i posted to see everything
I am asking $3,900 for everything or would consider trading for an early bronco, pre 1980 ford 4x4 or most any other early ford/mercury auto that strikes my interest. send me a message or call @ 334-207-9040 and leave a message.
