Im a rookie builder, I've done mostly body work/paint and regular mechanical work. some fabrication but don't consider myself an expert in any way.the front end on my 59 is really loose, needs to be completely rebuild including king pins. so I 've decided to clip the front end and need advise. I've measured a 70s chevy truck front end and I think I can make it work with the right offset wheels.Right now it's got the original 235 with a granny geared 4 speed out of a 70s step van. It will be upgraded eventually but right now I got the county on my ass to the point that I'm considering renting a small shop to keep my cars and maybe start a one man shop.anyway . will that frame work? can someone point me in the right direction. I want this truck to be a daily driver , just primered and eventually chopped, but for now it'd be nice to keep it on the road. thanks
