Bottom of the barrell, you say? I can add to this. Alot of the guys on the construction site I worked on would pile 7 guys into the same van every day and SMOKE cigarrettes for the hour long ride to get to the job. What one of the Foremen did in his van was to put dryer sheets in his vents, so that when you had the air or heat on, it would be filtered through spring-time freshness. It works pretty good, but you need to replace the sheets fairly regurlarly.

I like to put string loops on those little open boxes that White Castles come in and hang them, with the 'burgers, from my rear view mirror. You can buy 3 of them for the cost of one of those awful Christmas trees. They last a lot longer too !
When I was a Pontiac Service writer at an "inner city" dealership it became the style to have strings of those pine trees hnging from the mirror.
I wouldn't/couldn't even get in those cars because they smelled so BAD!
Why is it, the only cars that really reak are the ones with the deodorizers in them?
A few months after she bought it my wife took her Civic to a car wash and the sprayed it with some deodorant shit.
I couldn't even ride in the car for about two months after without getting asthmatic wheezing, and I don't have asthma.
I told her if the stench didn't go away she might as well sell the car because I wasn't ever getting in it again, and I didn't ride in it for a couple of months after.
I heard the cops stop cars with strings of the pine trees because they are supposedly used to cover the smell of smoking crack. I don't know if that's true or just another lame excuse to search a car without probable cause....
heres another one: smoke cigarettes to cover up the pot smell, oh wait, what board is this?

When I worked at the Ford dealership, we had this perfume shit in our toolboxes in case we got any friction modifyer or other smelly stuff in a customer's car while working on it!
The service manager once told me that the stuff smelled "like a two dollar French whore"!!
Wonder how he knew THAT??? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Y'know what...here's something that really works, and it's cheap like me.
Toss a bar of soap under the front seat. I like deodorant soap like Irish Spring or Dial. It smells nice, but not gross. It lasts a long time. When it stops smelling fresh, use it in the garage sink.
I smoke cigarettes, and this helps plenty.

You'd have to be smoking Crack to think a couple dozen pinetree deoderizers would be a good idea.
Why don't they sell the car,and buy more Crack? Oh,wait. It's stolen. Never mind. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
