Hey everyone. I have been reading for quite sometime now, and have finally reg'd. This is a great board, and I really like how things are ran here.
Just a little background on me. I am a certified car nut. I played with muscle mopars for years, but that crowd was way to pompas for me. I sold all of my 'rust free' Challengers, when I moved to Ohio a few years back. I am now working on a 56 Chevy 2 door hardtop. It 'was' a rust bucket when I bought it, but I have most of those issues addressed. My dad owned a new 56 back in the day, so this will be a tribute to him. In the very near future it will carry satin black, and be a few inches from the weeds. I want a nice driver that I can work on and not worry about scratching a 10k paint job. It won't be a frame off or anything crazy like that (been there done that). I've got my motor and trans in, and I am starting the body work. I was planning on having it on the road this summer, but my job keeps me away from home 80-85% of the year. Summer is moving much faster than I am, so maybe next spring I can roll her out.
