I'm new to the HAMB but not new to hot rodding. I like hot rods! New, old, traditional, weird, crazy, etc.. I love hot rods. I have had many cars over the years but at the present time I have a 1941 Chevy 2 door sedan gasser project, a t-bucket roadster pickup(that's right fiberglass body but it has a steel Model A bed and a steel 32 grill shell and was originally built in 1968) and I own a 1967 Chevelle, narrowed Dana 60, big block, roll cage, etc. that I drag race. I know that is newer than a lot of you guys like but let me tell ya it is one hell of a ride. I am 37 years old and have been around hot rods all of my life. My father has had numerous cars over the years and used to drag race gassers in the 60's and 70's. Well I don't know what else to say except. Nice to meet you all!

WELCOME ABOARD !! You wouldn't happen to have pix's of any 56 chevy gasser's from your dads racing days would you ? I'm collecting parts for a 56 hardtop gasser and love old photos for my e-files.

edsel, sorry no 56 pics. My dad ran a purple 32 ford 4 door with straight axle and a small block Chevy. It was called FRANKS TOY and I don't even have any pics of his car. He wasn't big on taking pictures I guess. He also had a 51 Henry J that I remember but it never got finished. Take it easy. Jim.
