The 4 door doesnt look to bad, but it looks like the roof was split in a few places. Yeah the wheels and seats are ugly.

If I remember right you sunk the stock rear window down with the package tray on your chop. Any side and or 3/4 rear pics of it. Looks really sharp!!

Now lemme tell you, before I built my Chevy some 14 years ago, I wasn't even sure what a '54 Chevy was. All's I knowed was that it was a way to keep me outta trouble and keep me sane during my divorce. I always wanted a '49-'51 Merc, but my Chevy dropped into my lap at the right time. I knew about Duane Steck's Moonglow at the time, but it was a hardtop, it wasn't until later that I got to appreciatin' the fine bulbous lines of a '49- '54 Chevy sedan, they look like women to me. I'm not gonna say that I wouldn't still rather have a Merc', but I like my Chevy just fine.
we had Fords in England, but Chevys were mythical man and they still are.

This is a killer post, for all of my love of the 54, I dont have many pictures saved on disk! I have many catalogged in my head and in old magazines. Of all of them is the Hoffman 53/54. We have covered that car before on the HAMB but I never saved the pics, I know SAILOR has some.
