Hello to all! I'm Mike or as the screen-name goes oldcarmike. Live near Chicago in the heart of the Rust Belt and old tim has been in my veins since I 'twas a pup. Being 41 now doesn't always equate to being wiser about these things so here I am, hoping to keep on learning. Current project is a '50 Packard I intend to customize as would have been done when it was new. WWW, Carson top, white T&R (which I'll do myself as I have years of experience with interior work), and simple, tasteful mods. Less is always more in my book. No spotlights either, those things just bust up the lines of a car. I did old school kemps and trad rods in the 40's vein. Simple and as our old Dar would have said "So reet". Got tons of opinions nad willing to share them. If you got anything to share with me, feel free to write. I care not how old you are, your sex, race, any of that stuff. If you feel rodding in your soul, that's enough for me. Let's wrench, ride, and let the world wonder what the heck the silly smirk is all about. See ya 'tween the white lines.

Picture you say. Like me in a thiong with my beer gut and ass flapping? Oh, you mean of projects and such... I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the welcome, and Bloomington isn't that far downstate, but you are south of I-80 so to most Chicagoans you're in the south. I know better.
