Hello everybody!:)

I'm Joel, a guy from Sweden. I have been sneaking around here for a while now, and since I registered I make a visit at least once a day, feels like I'm already addicted to this place! Cant get enough of all the tech tips and great pics posted here everyday, and I dont want to miss a thing.

Two and a half years ago I sold my Mustang Mach 1 -70 to buy a -66 Fairlane 500XL. Instead I stumbled upon a Ford Tudor -31 that had been standing in a barn for the last 50 years.

The tudor will not be all traditional, it will have 4-link in the front with drilled CE I-beam, a 351C (which was originally for the Mach1, lots of money spent on it so I kept it), a FMX automatic transmission (thought it was a C6 first until I left it to a guy to rebuild it...) and a Ford 9" with K-link. The frame has been boxed, Z'ed in the back and it's got a new double K member, and also a bit rised front member. I'm planning on a 4" channel and a 5" chop later on. Right now I just want put the original body on the chassis and get out on the road, maybe next summer! Will try to post pics later on if someone might be interested.

My other interests are music, have been collecting vinyl records, mostly oi!, punk, surf & psychobilly but also cajun, irish, reggae and other kinds. I'm into old school tattoos, watching movies, reading books and of course hot rod mags like Rolls & Pleats, Burnout, Hardcore Rod & Kustom, Dice,Rod & Kulture, Hot Rods Annual, Mag-Neto, Ol'Skool Rodz and others. And someday soon I will take up jogging again, promise.

Right now I'm looking forward to my 1 month vacation in two weeks, will try to get something done then (except drinking beer).

Thank you all,

/Joel

Welcome aboard Joel. Sounds like your having fun with the old sedan.
No problem to hear Irish music over this side of the pond...at least where I live anyway! LoL

Have a productive vacation! :)
