anyone got, Theres a couple I can get for $500 that aren't supposed to be in real bad shape, I have yet to go look at them so I odn't know if it's the fastback or what. I've been looking for pictures of some custom ones. Ever since I chopped the shoebox I've been wanting to do a more radical chop and I didn't know if these were something I could do that with. I saw one in the classifieds, but the chop on it was pretty tame, and I suck at photoshop so i couldn't get anything out of that. I have a couple of pics of some if anyone wants to try photo-chopping.

I was looking at those before, and hoping what i found wasn't that. I couldn't really tell a way to chop one of those wiithout having to put alot of work in reshaping the trunk area. Maybe someone will correct me though.

A couple of my favs are Cleatus' car(look in the tech-o-matic section for pix and the chop on it).
And this one from Sweden it is very cool. I plan to use some of these ideas on mine.

I checked out the cleatus post, and the car was badass, but it's got a few years on these, and I don't dig the hartop thing too much with these cars. I'm looking for some pics of one that's been severely chopped, so i can tell if it looks good or bad, or what's too much or not enough. I just can' decide if I want to pick the cars up or not.

This is my all-time favorite of these cars, kinda helps that a real good friend built it and now another friend owns it. I'm sure most of you have seen this one, tho. Fuckin perfect.

ya know how much that one is chopped? that looks pretty damn good, but it looks like you could go somewhat lower without fucking the car up.

Geocities won't let you link the pix unless you pay for the space.

Here is one from Carnut

I just found a 47 coupe a couple of days ago, am thinking what I could possibly do to it. Thanks for bringing up the topic.

Not really a custom, but here is my Dad's 48...

http://www.mdesignstudio.com/chad/other/the48.JPG

I have always like the 46-48 Fords and Chevys. If I can't sell my 48 Olds coupe, then maybe I'll throw it together. And maybe... (my fellow Czar's will NOT believe it) but MAYBE it could be a taildragger...

I would like to see one like that (minus visor) photo chopped so low that the roof line and trunk line were one and the same, just to see what it looked like. SOme of those other pics were close, but not quite. It may look retarded, I'm still curious though.

I'm not a great big fan of Lowriders but the first gen. Fleetline is the quintisential "BomB" It's the way I see them looking their best.

Dammit, Eyeballs car is the one I was trying to post. However, Tim, it IS the same car. New owner now, tho. Why Eyeball traded off that car is beyond me. It did go to a good home, but I still think he is crazy to get rid of it. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif He pulled the blower and threw in a hood for the new guy. Which, I will add is a HAMBer and fellow Toppers member. I think I'll be doing some work on it this winter for him.
