So, where's the "original" truck?? This truck isn't original by a long shot. Later model incorrect engine ('55 1rst were all 6 cylinder, 283 didn't come out in light trucks until '58), bed is from an earlier truck (this truck appears to have been a chassis-cab or stake truck originally), aftermakret/relocated/wrong voltage battery ('55 1rst should be 6 volt, under the floor).
