It's not Friday in the Detroit suburbs either but I'm going up north for the weekend.
I've decided to work on lettering. We're doing the "car theme" in one bathroom in our new house. A '52 Olds rocket hood ornament makes a good place to hang my robe. Here's the lid to my trash can. The can is going to be covered in car parts stickers. Notice the finely aged Bosch pull handle and our new specialized berber photo background material.

I've been a litle busy this week. Here's some pics of a truck I did some lettering and striping on.I did the Motor City logo and the Detroit lettering on the bottom. The center logo was already on there. Then the tailgate and the stripes.
The next post will be some yard sale stuff I acquired this week.First is a cooler and second is a large plastic car(about 18" long).
Very nice there Empire, very nice.

Sooo, I haven't posted to the art section before but I hope they will qualify.
These are all polaroids, the type that also makes a b&w negative.

Mr. Mayor calls the June meeting of the Chamber of Commerce to order....
I'd like to introduce our performers for the July 4 Jamboree, Mr. Buddy Holapeno and Ailvis. As you know this is the first year we will have "professional" talent and boy are we excited. We can thank Mr. Oliver of Oliver's package store and lounge for sponsoring these acts.
Next, I'd like to ask our V.P., Troubles, to help me welcome our newest member Corky. He has opened a small engine repair shop down by the railroad tracks and will be selling reconditioned Vespas. Everybody, lets give Cork....
He looks familiar.
Excuse me.
I've seen him somewhere.
I think he said something about an old TV show.
No that's not it.
Has he been in the joint?
I think it was HGTV.
Huh?
Look at his hat. That's it.
He's not THAT Corky is he?
Quit interrupting.
Welcome Corky.

All I know is a guy named Bob Adams bought it at GG.I met him at Billetproof this year but Mark Kirby had me do the truck.I did a Tech Post earlier on how to remove lettering and this was the subject truck.

a vase for the wife....
a desk for the son....
lamps for the living room.....
and a cieling fan for the dining room...
the windows on the front of the house are done too ,but they are hard to photograph...

GREAT STUFF Rollie! I really like the flamed lampshades!
I've been so busy this week I haven't had a chance to stripe anything out of the ordinary. Here's a couple of oldies:A pair of sunglasses(you CAN see out of them)and a Vacu-Vise my son gave me for holding panels and such when I stripe. It works pretty good:I just attach it to the hood of my Safari and stripe away!
Gotta get back to the shop;the 34 is still got a long way to go before Tuesday!
