Pics to big, wont let me post

I've tried several times to attach pics to my posts, but everytime it tells me they're too big. Says my pictures are 128 kbs and it can only accept 83, how can i get by this or shrink my files?

What are the dimensions now? You need to get them to, say, 500 wideX375 tall in a jpeg format. Have to looked at some of the other picture posting tests and advice?

Go to photobucket.com they will resize the photos and then you can post them from there . or host them there

You can use a photoshop - like program, picture viewer, etc... and open your picture, resize it, and that should work... even changing pictures from "BMP" to "JPG" changes the byte size quite a bit
