For anyone chopping a 50's top and keeping the drip rails.
A good chop comes from a great final shape and not being able to tell where the cuts are made. In the "C" pillar area, sometimes the drip rail comes up looking short.
In the top pic, the drip rail continues all the way down to the belt line. Just as it is when stock.
In the bottom pic, the drip rail stops short. It's obvious then that the cut was made there.
With a little planning before making the "C" pillar cut, it's easy to avoid this.
