Ive got a wicked fat 'taxi/commercial' generator I want to put on my RPU,has anyone got pics of gens on windsors?where would be best to hang it?there will be room to tuck it in tight and low,but would kinda like it up high and obvious,itsa real FAT BITCH (tm) and would look cool hangin in the breeze....

LowSquire, I’ve been following you build for awhile now and am wondering if you intend to go for full Vic rego? Or club? How do you think you will go with the square tube chassis and split bones?

Early 60s 221-260 Ford had generators, mounted lower rite side I think.......OLDBEET

is it the stock type small block gen? if so you can use the stock brackets, send me a pic of it and I'll try to send you a pic of mine, also I can find extra brackets here if you want to use them. they sit high on the pass side covering the #1 spark plug and the front of the valve cover.

Here is a pic of my 289. I left the generator on it in the stock location.....

Don't fix what ain't broken...eh?

Sorry, its not a great pic, but it gives you an idea of where the generator was originally. Its got one heck of a hefty bracket that goes with it.

von tinglers pic is where I want it, Its off a 66 falcon taxi,
will build mounts for it,was mainly trying to figure out what points to attach it to..front of the head seems the main point yeh??
