Here goes... I truly love this car, but it's time to move on to the next project in line. Built almost entirely from old original parts, save for the tires, wiring, and a few misc components, it is a traditional hot rod built to 1950-ish period.
Chassis is an original '32 Frame, step boxed, stock front crossmember, repaired K-member with rear C-channel legs added for more torsional strength, 26-27 Model T rear crossmember. '32 pedals converted for hydraulic brakes with a stainless steel sleeved '39 master cyl. Custom headlight bar/front upper shock mount. Rebuilt F1 Steering box. Has a working E-brake! Orig dropped/chromed/drilled front axle, chromed posies spring, old chrome '39 backing plates, Orig Halibrand Culver City polished quickchange rear with '40 cones, 36 rear radius rods, chrome tube shocks all around, true '40 Ford wheels, 700 and 550 x 16 Firestone blackwall rubber, repop '40 deluxe caps w/ orig smooth trim rings.
The engine runs great, '51 Ford V8, completely rebuilt, has 7k on it now. Has 40lb of oil pressure at speed, 25 lb at idle. Bored .060 over, MILD relief job, EAB merc cam, adjustable lifters, orig Weiand 2x2 intake topped with old chrome '97's, orig Stellings air cleaners, Weiand heads and fuel block, chrome fuel pump, modified W headers feed 1.75 straightpipes, old chrome moon timing cover, Mallory dual point ignition and AC finned coil, Filcoolator beehive, mech fan, Generator and 12v reg for easy starting. NICE '38 trans case filled with perfect '40 gears and all new bearings, new 10" clutch and pressure plate, NOS U-joint, shortened '40 driveshaft/torque tube.
Original '31 Roadster body, I believe the P.O. told me it was an old apple orchard hauler at one point. New wood in the body, Tank was torched out LONG ago, I filled the filler neck and installed a 10 gallon T tank behind the seat, cowl patches were curved to follow the frame reveal, the paint is a driver quality job and since I actually do drive it has a few bumps/scratches/and some wear. Not perfect, but presentable for an old hot rod. Decklid ventilated with old style round top louvers swings on '51 Ford hinges. '41 Ford super Deluxe dash with Fenton chrome aftermarket trim and a '38 Banjo wheel wired to a vintage firewall-mounted MG horn. Top is chopped 3", folds down nicely, the canvas is weathered but fits the car perfectly. Stock-style interior panels and brown leather springless seat set back and lowered for long legs. '46 Ford taillights, 36 passenger car headlight lenses/rings on smaller pickup buckets. Original '32 grille/shell.
Clear paperwork in my name, currently registered/insured/driven. I will consider a partial trade of another 32-40 Ford coupe/roadster or maybe pickup project, but unless you've got something REALLY special, I'll need to see some cash in the deal as well. I'm planning on driving the car to Carlisle in two weeks if you're attending and would like to see it in person. PM me with any questions, thanks.
The car's current issues:
speedometer doesn't read accurately
windshield has a small crack in the upper passenger side corner

Here's the most recent shot I have by Mckee from 2011 Detroit Autorama where the car won "Outstanding Traditional Roadster" in the basement.
