im needing a good distributer for my 1958 gmc 270-6 cyl -it should measure 5 7/8 long -from the tang end -up to the step above the hold down ring /i hope i explained this right ?the old dist. # was 1112414/6k24 i had another 270 ? dist. but it seems like it was 5/8" to short ? maybe there is an early or late motor ? thanks
