59 Buick brake drums

anyone have a book showing max dia for the front drums? Need to turn a set and all I get are guesses.

Gasser, where did you get the data from. I had a reply on another board that came from his NAPA book which stated 12.060. So that's why I was wondering where yours came from.

On the late, 90 fin drums, it's cast right into the inside flat surface next to the hub...

...on the early, 45 fin drums, my research info from 2 Buick manuals, and about 2 dozen replys from several Buick message boards, confirmed the 12.100" max. dia. I went through this about 3 years ago, and figured, I was safe with the numbers that came right from Buick.

I have 5 of the 45 fin drums and all of them are factory marked on the drum with the max turning diameter of 12.100."

2 1959 drum
2 1960 drums
1 1963(?) drum

mine are not marked at all, could only find casting #'s
