I've been trying to figure out how to post photos on the HAMB for months, with no luck whatsoever.

I tried the "regular" HAMB method of just attaching a file (and yes ...I made damn sure it was well under the file size maximum) without success.

So...I "hooked up" to the StarPhoto deal. That apparently went O.K., but when I try to upload a photo (I've tried .jpg, .tif, and .eps formats), I get a message saying the format is unrecognizable.

Anyone got advice? My computer is a Macintosh. Could that be the problem? I send the same type of files in e-mails all the time, without problems.

I love the HAMB, and have several cool photos to put up (including some good stuff from the HAMB drags), but am REALLY getting frustrated with the photo deal here. Why in the world is it so complex?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Not sure about "MACS", but I know that if you can copy and paste. Right click, then properties and drag/copy all of the line up until ".jpg" don't copy the jibberish at the end otherwise it will not work. And then Click on the "Image" in the "Instant UBB Code" below. And then Erase (back space) the "http" in what pops up the window on your screen then paste what you copyed from "Starphoto". Should work for ya'. If you have a "notepad" on your computer screen you can copy paste on it for multiple photo's. And then copy/paste on the the ole' "HAMB".

It sound confusing but simple like the way's brakes stop a car. Once you figure it out, you say "ohhh".

Thanks "Sod". Sorry, but I didn't make myself clear. I was refering to problems uploading pics onto StarPhoto. I haven't even got to trying to get them on the HAMB yet. I'm sure I'll run into trouble there too, so will keep your HAMB uploading advice at hand when (and if- LOL) the time comes.

Nice to meet you and your 'ol man at MoKan. Enjoyed your Yahoo photo album too. You seem to have lots of interests for such a "youngster". Take care.

here's my IDEA on your problem,,,
always use JPEG files,,,they claim the will always work,,,
if necessary add .jpeg to the end of your file name before trying to upload it,,,

i would try the emailing files in to be uploaded feature,,,it seams to go quick and be less painful,,,

things to CONSIDER,,,
