OK, here's a suggestion. With so many people posting on the Hokey Ass Message Board, is it possible to have sub categories? Say, an "Engine/Driveline", "Paint & Body", etc. There's so many threads with so many varying topics getting posted every few seconds, it's kinda hard to keep track. If I don't keep up for a day or even half a day, I've gotta dig thru pages of threads to find one I was trying to follow. Seems like it'd make life easier on everyone.

You obviousely arent blowing off work enough to keep up then!!!!!! Ignor your family and devote at LEAST 6 hours a day to the board:D

Seriously, just use the search function for specifics. Better yet, FIRST check the TechOmatic, many questions can be answered ASAP by reading the old tech posts.

I am on other boards that are broken down into many subsections and frankly, they dont have the same cool vibe as the HAMB.

I have to agree with mugsy... this site could use a lil more organization. But, I can also see how this site has that messy ass garage feel... cuz my garage feels that way all the time. hahahaha it kinda fits. :D

Setting it up all formal and organized would be easy enough to do.
Getting everyone to post their stuff in the right section
would be a nightmare on a good day.

I can totally understand that. Eh, the Hamb is enjoyable regardless. ;)

See the "THREAD TOOLS" button down the bottom? Well, now you do.....scroll down to the "Subscribe to this thread" button and click that. Easy enough?

Unkl Ian is indeed correct too.......sub-categories would suck admin-wise! "Vote "NO" to sub-categories!"

just look in this forum "questions & suggestions" are like 30-40% of the posts here or something like that is from newbies who can't read and post in the wrong forum asking stuff about their cars not about the forum it self...

So, I'm trying to be a smart FNG and was reading through old stuff to answer my questions. I've found some good stuff that I want to be able to refer back to in the future. If I subscribe to a thread, will it save the thread for me? Or would I be better off printing the thread and throwing it on top of my toolbox?:)
