Come one. come all and bring your wreck,
We're all signed up for a week of tech.
No ebay, politics or racism all next week,
Knoledge and learning is what we seek.

So bury your hatchets and let your wounds heal,
And watch what folks here can do with a hunk of steal.
I'll start this early with what I did to my dash,
With just a little thought and time and very little cash.

First photo, before shot.

Second photo, after I found some Fiat gauges at the local swap meet I welded on some sheet metal to fill all the holes. Then drilled holes for the guages.

Third photo. Bottom of dash was to high for the tilt column
I got out of a Camaro so I used some 2" conduit to extend
it down to where the steering wheel was at an aceptable level and to also creat a map pocket on the passenger side for registration an stuff.

Looks great but I hope those Fait guages don't cause your machine, what ever it is ,to konk out on the side of the road. You know the reputation Fiats have.

my first car: a 69 FIAT 124 sport AC.

my dad's name: tony.

the car's reliability: questionable at best.

my knowledge of motor vehicles at the time: less than questionable.

the result?...

FIAT: Fix It Again Tony!

I got this wood grain dash panel at a swap meet for 10.00.
The gages are gel filled and once I figured out how to wire them ( positive ground ) they work great in my Hemi powered 39 Plymouth coupe. Swap meets are great.
