Well, I will bring this one back to the top. Nothing as complex as last weeks mailbox but a couple things.
The panel is clear, backcoated with some copper spray glitter I found at Hobby Lobby on the clearance rack for a buck and then back coated white. Really pops in the sun, you can kind of tell where the flash made it sparkle. The orange is a 50/50 mix of chrome yellow and bright red.
Put a little something on my air cleaner top as well.
Good start for the week guys.

steve- hell yeah- I get alot of my inspiration off the hamb, its the best online source for everything cool-- shoeboxes rule.--i got all hot on getting a site up and stopped, I dont have time to build it- and did that quick drawing to fill space---
i took a photo of my "airbrush" and illustrated that too- the hellfire666 iwata did you see it? haha-
but I HIRED help so that old site will come down and a new one will take its place with a new look.
If you look at the seat in that spotlight roadster it was inspired by a seat fatlucky did for mercury charlie---
I've been working on some personal projects... some posters in the works and more.

Long show, how long we gonna drag this one out?
Some stuff I finished up (and started) over the weekend while the show was going!
First off, my new panel with a new b/g technique (of course :) ) Laid down a coat of clear, then laid some seran wrap over it. Wrinkled it up and peeled it off. Shots some black primer over the red and laid some seran wrap over that. Peeled it up, which pulled some of the red off. Reshot the whole thing with black, and this turned out.
http://img120.echo.cx/img120/8522/untitled13wx.jpg
One of my latest commissioned pieces- The head of security at a school I went to last year wanted me to do these for his wife. She likes roosters. Yes, there is a joke there, but this is a family forum.:D
http://img167.echo.cx/img167/779/untitled27kk.jpg

And the top...
http://img151.echo.cx/img151/9864/dsc009388wd.jpg
Starting a new panel. Will do the back tommorrow, thinking black/red swirly stuff, like the blue one.
http://img151.echo.cx/img151/4081/dsc009351gn.jpg
And another new panel, thinkin JD Green and white with some kind of kool effect.
http://img151.echo.cx/img151/918/dsc009457wz.jpg
And finally, a sketch for a pinstriped face. Loosely based on me.:D
