Im in Love with that Jupiter Pod.. saw some of the illustrations on FB and now even more here. awesome! I think Corvairs are completely overlooked, and I have had many ideas over the years for my own version... this is an older concept I thought I would share since its a 'Vair, the Gran Sport 'Vair..... I think I'd rather roll in the Jupiter Pod tho:)

I still cant get this idea out of my head for a mobile art studio/store front. You drive it to the carshow and pop open the side and you are ready for the day. The vehicle is a 1953 Fageol Moving van. I found one in Tulsa that was ripe for the pickin' but missed my chance back in November because the money was tight before the holidays. Now I am hoping that I can put aside some scratch from selling art junk this summer and try my luck again!

I also have been working on a couple of new hot rod shift knobs. Here is a sneak peak at the artist series that will be customized with hand strung hemp cord. It's unpainted but I should be able to start getting color on them this week. After that I will start working on a normal production run of them.

Spoggie - I love the colors, stance and texture - really nicely done.
Moter - that rolling shot of your roadster is SO COOL!
Metalhotrodgirl - that top shot with the sun flare is exceptional!
Slim - great detail shots. Really love teh night shot of the 59 Ford
Corvette Bob - the subtle reflection and that great black on black look really make this a standout.
Kscooter - that illustration is just electric! The purple is so intense!
Buick 59 - I'm jealous! I would have loved to find and photograph that moss covered truck and of course you made a magnificent image out of it.

Fantastic show this week everyone. I was hoping to put up a few new pieces that I plan to debut at Vintage Torquefest since this is normally my slow time of year. As luck (and good fortune ) would have it, I have been slammed with incoming design work. Mostly car and cycle related but none of which I can show until I get the nod from the clients. Ha, hello Xyling! Here's my first entry in a while too. I was lucky enough to be invited as a passenger at a trials event in a very exciting 'special' - a sort of vintage english hot rod. The chassis is a very light weight GN cycle car from the 20's complete with chaingang gears. The engine is a 3.4 litre V-Twin using parts from an Anzani radial aero engine found in a hedge. The whole car is beautifully detailed, which you can't really see in the sketches but I'll post some pictures one day...

He's a bootleg Taiwanese vinyl! BUT, he cost me about 70 bucks total instead of $300! I've been buying vinyl stuff from the same little dude there for quite a while, he's got some great stuff!
