Due to an unusual set of circumstances I find myself in posession of the original " OZARK MOUNTAIN SPECIAL " that was once the HA/GR mph record holder and one of the very first ones to compete as such.
It is going to take some work to get her back on all four but it is quite a bit further along than anything my lazy butt has done in the last year !!!
I am excited and (re)enthused, Randy and Brad (Randman and Recycler) have been a great help and have promised continued support and for that I am very greatful to them.
I would also like to thank Underdogexpress, without him it would not have been possible !!!
Thanks, ScottV

This is the only photo I have right now, I don't have a decent camera and my phone doesn't have flash. We moved it into the shop for now, and yes I did sit in it and make Vroom-Vroom noises !!! :p

I’ve followed HA/GR from the beginning and trudged through HA/GR’s growing pains to witness the creation of some truly inspirational race cars.
The Ozark Mountain Special is one very special car.
It was tops in class, beautiful, simple and embodied everything a HA/GR should be.
Unfortunately, outside of us chickens, I feel there is very little appreciation in the racing community for what Randy & Brad accomplished with this historically significant race car.
Nonetheless, I’m glad Scott has it.

You guys should have seen Randy and Brad's faces when they won in Tulsa a few years ago. I am glad that on that nite they did not make another run, It would have been dangerous, because nether one of them could see past their grin's

Scott, that link doesn't go anywhere. And I'm not bright enough to figure out where it was intended to go. :o

It was deleted, apparently the H.A.M.B. is not place for humor, not even on April Fool's day. Heck I am surprised anyone with a sense of humor is even allowed to be a member !!!

Figures.
My wife watches that "Price is Right" show, today they went right off the chart with gags. Collapsing sets, snowy screen monitors, etc, just anything they thought of. She called me in to see it, it was pretty funny.

Deleted for "humor"???
What's the HAMB coming to???
Or was the "humor" off color?
I know some of the mods are trying to "clean up" the board some.

No it was a For Sale ad for $100,000.00 before the car went to BJ Vegas were Craig Jackson was begging me to bring it and it would get over $1m.
Or trade for the Pierson Brothers Coupe, Doane Spencer Roadster or the Duece with a ScOT Blown Ardun that Jimmy Shine built for AMBR, but only if they pushed some cash my way. It was billed as the chance of a lifetime to own a piece of racing history. I read the rules and it really doesn't say you can't put something funny there on April Fool's day ...
... YET !!!
