Machine shop in L.A.?

Anyone know of a good, reasonable machine shop in the Hollywood, North Hollywood, Burbank area? I need a tie rod theaded. Thanks-stick

you need a tie rod threaded? or rethreaded? is it one of those left hand thread ones?

Threaded. I shortened it and it's right handed theads and I need it sloted for the collar clamp. Any ideas? -stick

find a good hardware store. buy a tap of the proper size. thread the end carefully. cut the slot with a hacksaw. clean the thread with the tap.
