Id lose the centre post, looks too much like its all just been cut off.
Maybe still have a two piece screen and just butt the two flat panes together with clear silicon? or modify the lip to accept a curved screen off another car thats the right width.
looking good though, great idea to do a later body style as an rpu!
Brewsir ...looks cool. Are you going to run fenders or not? How about thinning the posts just a little and laying them back a little. Just a thought.

Nice Brew--
I would thin out those posts and lay them back a litttle bit- ala Haddock.
Looking forward to a ride.

I was definately thinking about laying them back a few degrees...could put them on a little diet too. I want to keep the center post ...I just can't bring myself to V-butt it (ala streetrod).....I will be cutting the bottom 3-4 inches off the cab too....easy rust repair, just lose it!!

Brewsir, look'n good brother, I would personally keep the center post. How long do you think it will take you to get that thing on the road? See ya next Sat.!!!

With the center post you'll have people thinking you made a pickup out of a 39 Ford Convertible...
KOOL!

brewster,if your set on keepin the center post, maybe thin up JUST the center post as much as you can, and keep the outside ones the same.might help the center one seem less obvious, but still keep it functional.......just a thought...quickrod http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Raked the a-pillars.
Thinned center pillar.
Removed a strip below the bottom of the windshield to lower the glass relative to the cowl.
Finished off the top of the driver's door.
And picked up some of the extension cords. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The convert cowls are the way to go. If you don't have one you can easily make one to look like this......they look way cool chopped....Neal

I think the area just below the windshield is to high. Here it is with the windshield lowered and laid back.

Unkl Ian nailed it.....it was those damn extension cords on the floor!!!!!
I will definately be layin those posts back and thinnin a little....the area below the windshield is gettin a little trim too.
As for makin the 2 windshields with a surround all the way I think it's a little thick for this car . i have made a convertible header and surround before....tons of work to pull it off right, but it can be done.
