After not touching the old girl for over a year I thought it was time to get my ass in gear and try to get her on the road for next summer.
The Poncho is running OK and is now my daily driver so hopefully that wont get in the way.
Here's wot i got so far, the garage is in a bit of a mess so I think I'd better start there. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

tail (& daisey),

good going. here's wishing you the best and that you're both on the road next spring.

y'all should plan on being at the hamb drags next summer. along with one or both of your rides. (or the poncho). i'd love to meet you in person and i'm sure all the other hambers would, too.

You let that sit for over a year without touching it!!!!
You are underserving of a cool ride like that, in fact I think you should hand it over to me!!! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That pic of the black painted chassis is downright inspirational. Keep going!

By the way, how hard is it to register, MOT and insure a hot rod like yours in the UK?

Wait a minute...

Where the hell in England did you find Buick drums and 1940 Ford backing plates? More power to you! Thanks for keeping hotrodding alive across the pond. (Thanks also for using the word "ass".)

I havent had time to sit around limey far too many projects.I also promised my son I'd get his totrod up and running for the summer as well. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Getting it registered is going to be the next problem, I am on the lookout for a V5 ( registration Doc).

As for the Buick drums and 40 backplates, that was just a trip down the local junkyard their selling um 10 a penny http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
