Owned by the same family since new, all original in and out. 58 thousand miles. Man, I'm excited. This is why I'm selling the Riv and the roadster project. It's good to have something in nice shape, and that I can actually drive.

Here's what I have in mind. This thing is WAY too nice to cut up, so I'm thinking stock bodied early tail-dragger.

I had a 48 just like yours that I traded for my A-bone coupe. I do miss that 48 though.

Great looking car. Is it restored or original?

A great website for those 40s plymouths is http://www.p15-d24.com but you may already know that! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

When you get bored with it you can park it at my house. You have to leave me the keys though.

Thanks guys, I'm pleased with it.

Elrod, I did find that site right after I got the car. It's all original including the interior and the paint and unbelieveably EVERYTHING works. The only exception is the radio which comes on, but won't tune in. It probably just needs a new tube.

Foiled, the visor is already off. I'm a tall guy and could barely see out the windshield. I drove it home that way and took it off as soon as I got there.

Back in 1962,a friend of mine had one just like that with a hopped up DeSoto 6 and dual exhaust. His was black primer w/ white pinstripes, whitewalls, black wheels w/trim rings.
You've got a real nice one there!!

Nice score!

Good idea on the customizing too. Looks real good w/ those skirts. Maybe a custom grill and smoothed bumper too?

Anyway, congrats! And no wire wheels or we'll start calling you Snoop or Dre or some other fitting home boy name http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hey! Here is a picture of the 48 Plymouth that I traded for a 1931 Ford coupe. We are just about to pull out with the Ford in this picture, and I jumped out and caught a quick picture of them both. This was the last time I saw that plymouth!!!
