Don't know if anybody's seen these, but Highway 61 Diecast (an offshoot of Ertl) has released a series of eight high-detail 1/18 scale '29 Fords named "the Origins of Speed". Here's a few pics...

saw those in shop while i was on holiday in Italy this year...if i remember correctly i worked out the price to be around 48 pounds which today would be about 82 dollars.....think i might wait until i get to florida in january to look for them

These were first announced on the HAMB last spring.I saw them at a swap meet this past summer and the detail sucks.I was all excited about buying them until I actually saw one.
