Intro

Hey all! James here. I am still a newbie and felt like I needed to introduce myself out of respect to the "old heads" in here.....No pun intended! Anyway I'm 28, married with two tricycle motors and we live in Little Rock, Arkansas....of all places! We have a 51 Chevy sedan delivery. I bought it like you see it with all the billit mess on it. But that soon to change! Thats another for intros so that a guy can dive in here and start weelin and dealin! But I dont want to step on any toes! I have built some of my own rods and kustoms but I had just sold my 56 Safari so I needed another ride, QUICK! I found the 51 at a show in Tunica, MS. Its currently featured in Souther Rodder Mag. Well that about sums it up. I am glad to be apart of not only this comunity but also this lifestyle. Thanks all and hope to talk car crap with ya'll soon! First off all of the Biilit Shit is going! Not sure were, Egay probably, but somewere! I'm getting a set of skirts, wide whites and maybe Sombreos. If not either 57 caddys or just painted steelies. I do know that Caddy caps will only fit on a Caddy rim unless you modify the hell out of a non-Caddy rim. My buddy here has a yellow and white 50 sedan with Sombreos but he had to modify the cap to get it to go on a Chevy rim. I'm getting with him tomorrow. I'm also going to fourlink the rear to get her lower and MAYBE channel it. Sorry boys but I did bag it simply for convience. "We's dont have da best roads here in Arkansas!" Ya'll let me know if you have any advice for me.....I, like everyone, can always use a second opinion! Thanks all!

Heres one of a car that I'v been trying to find for a couple of years now. The pic is from a Darryl Starbird show from the 70's. This things tha shiat. Anyone know anything at all about this Safari I'd love to know!
