I finaly got around to figuring out the new board setup, and also got my connections working at home. When you do this computer stuff for a living, you tend to not do it at home. I used to be able to do more from work during lunch etc, but that has been blocked, so that is the other reason for not being around.

Anyway, back to intro, I have a 1941 Olds model 78 fastback (it is even bigger than Denise's Olds) that I have been futzing around with for the last few years and am finaly getting serious about. It has a 78 Mid sized gm clip on the front and a 9' rear, bagged all around, with a 454 Chevy. Over the last 3 year I have change my mind on engines too many times and decided to just stay with the 454 and take off the blower. I also built a 65 Impala over the last few years, and put in a 502/502 with a Richmond 5 speed last summer. I have never had a car with that much power in my life.

There are some pictures of my toys at www.picturetrail.com/sirstude. (http://www.picturetrail.com/sirstude.)

Thanks

I used to have a 40 Studebaker coupe, and like an idiot, I sold it. Long ago, there used to be a street rod board on Prodigy and Bubbles gave me that nickname. There was "sir Coupay" "sir olds" Linda was "queen of the board" and a bunch of others. Just have not had the heart to give up the nickname. I haven't heard from Linda for years, but last I heard she is in Michigan somewhere.

It was/is a Champion coupe, the only pictures I have of it are on film, not digital unfortunately. I built the frame with a Pinto front, Mavrik rear with Parallel leafs. 383 stroker chev with tri power, air , tilt. Power windows, door locks, trunk, cowl vent. Pretty much left the body alone and did everything except the paint and upholstery. It now lives out in Spokane and Kenny put on 8 Port Hilborn EFI adn runs the wheels off the car.
