The one disadvantage to doing a downtown show is parking. However, Austin is set up pretty well for such a thing. In fact, there are many events held in downtown Austin that are many times larger in size that the Hot Rod Revolution. Therefore, we should be just fine...
To help you find parking near the Power Plant, I found this handy dandy little map:
