The one disadvantage to doing a downtown show is parking. However, Austin is set up pretty well for such a thing. In fact, there are many events held in downtown Austin that are many times larger in size that the Hot Rod Revolution. Therefore, we should be just fine...

Park legit people. You don't want to mess with parking illegally or questionably in downtown Austin. There is plenty of parking within easy walking distance in that area, especially early on a Saturday.
