Do any Thanksgiving cruising and/or old iron huntin'?
Got some good junkyard huntin' done, am about to find out how the digi cam's pics came out (mine's sketchy, 'specially since I don't have a preview window on it, the bugger).
Am so glad to crash home, I'm not even that bothered about finding the tarp off the '57 Ford in the rainfall. It's happened before when outta town, nuthin' a good bath in Prep 'n Prime can take care of, tomorrow. At least nothin' was stolen.

Hot-damn, some o' the pics came out decent. Must be getting used to what the cam like & doesn't like.
Went to a Redding 'yard called "Cruisers", Wednesday, a beautiful Autumn day, before the rain arrived.
If I remember right, this one is of a Dodge.
Cruiser's specializes in old cars. The place is great, a 'yard that isn't picked clean out, kinda like a modest secret place you only tell a select few like you.

Trying to get better at framing the shots... the dang window's too small, doesn't expand the view. It's the same with disposable cameras, so I'm trying make sure I get the whole shot.

I kept being drawn to this '41 Dodge, an unfinished homemade custom. The interior has cushy seats from son '70s/'80s Olds luxury car, inner door lining was redone. Fairly straight body, not much rust for a car in its stage. Just daydreamin' about the possibilities...

Can't believe this '60 F-100 is still there, after a year and a half, not nearly as stripped. Has like-new carpeting and insulation that I wanted to get, but later that week was way too wet. Man, I shoulda gotten it while there.

Got to visit car buds in Shasta Lake. Randy has a '53 Chevy Bel Air, been focussing on door work, lately.

Crap... well this the door. Plans are to repaint the '53 a turquoise type of blue. I wish the pics of the front and other side and had come out decent.
