As many questions as we have here on the board about carburetors, here's your chance to get some good answers about the basics and a little deeper.

The article is in the Tech Section of the February 2004 issue of R&C, pg. 58.

I give the article a ten on a scale of one to eleven ... Hey, first guy who posts makes the rules.... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Seriously though, a good article and the reason it only got a ten was, it was too short.
That's understandable, only so many pages allotted etc.
Written by some guy named Dan Kahn. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Long as you're there, look at the 27 T pickup on page 68.
A little different from what you see today, this little car has it all far as I'm concerned.

The carb article and the T made the mag worth the money this month.

I totally agree about the R&C roadster pickup article. I've never seen a model T pickup looking that good - EVER! So, the article and pictures are changing my mind about a build strategy for a couple of my T projects. I had previously found pickup beds, but was looking instead for turtle backs to go the roadster route. Now I think I'll just stick with the beds and build to the recipe in this month's R & C!
