pinion angle

i just put lowering blocks in my 62 comet! How do i check the pinion angle on it. My dad says ill need to shorten the driveshaft, is this true? Thanks Nate

I'm not really good with this, but if you are just lowering the rear, and if you are using lowering blocks, your engine/tranny and rear are still fastened to the chassis, you will just be moving the body lower over it, so your angles shouldn't change. At least, I think that is right, if I'm picturing it correctly.
