a little assistance resizing an image for Avatar use?

DAMN! I have the very worst luck with resizing images for avatar use. Anybody want to strap on [hee hee] the job of helping me with this as an avatar???

NOPE! rejected for being too big. Gotta be less than 80X80 pixels and that's when the image looses detail...dang!
