Proud new owner of a 51 Mercury

Hello I am a proud new owner of a 1951 Mercury 2 door that I picked up here locally in San Diego. My father and I are gonna start working on this car. Ive been looking at these forums now for awhile, but finally decided to become a member.

We love cars and my dad also owns a 1951 Chevy Fleetline and a 1964 Impala SS convertible.

I look forward to asking all u merc enthusiasts for future advice as I am a novice in rebuilding cars (this is my first project...hopefully of many).
