my buddy has a 53 buck 2 door hardtop that he wants to lower a shitload. he probably wants to go at least 6 inches lower than stock, maybe more.
what is the best way to do the front end? how far can the stock front end go?
how far can the back go before the torque tube starts hitting? is there need to make a new driveshaft hump?
as of right now everything is stock, even the straight 8.
thanks.

Airbags for sure.
Going to need to fab. a new tunnel probably. I suppose an airbag install could be done in your garage...but I'd go w/ a pro. on this one. Tell him not to forget to get it aligned after the install. Basically, you set the height of the car where you think you will drive it the most and get the alignment done there. Tires may rub too when it's fully dumped...but w/ bags you can always just move er' up a bit.
Figure on $2500-$3500 to get it done right w/ a good compressor and tank.
Fordiac, if your buddy wants a factory dual exhaust, with split manifolds I have one withe the y-pipe included. TP
