A buddy of mine sent me this link. It is a build-up page for this guy's 1961 Econoline van. I'm not really a "van guy" but this thing looks bad ass. Click the link to check it out... VanTastic! (http://www.shadoworksart.com/econo.htm)

I thought that the stance was great and I thought the fact that they turned it into a mid-engine was pretty neat. Just sorta like a hot-rod mystery machine.

Green would be a really lame color for a van...there's just no accounting for bad taste is there?! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Econolines are definitely one of my favorites...vans or trucks..!!

and I've seen that link before...

OGNC- I'm almost positive those vans were all mid-engine...

I'm looking for a 3-window truck if anyone knows of one...

In the 80's my dad found one of thoses the front was smashed and the paint was 10 diffrent colors. He fixed the body work and put a 289 in it that a guy gave him for working on his Datsun. He drove it work and to FL 2 times from Maryland . All that and it ran high 14's at the track. He stoped driving it after it threw a rod . Man does that bring back memories.
