G,day all,Time to sign up, My name is Henry, i,m 50 years
old and saw my first rod in about 1960 . It was a channeled
32 FORD roadster pickup, cycle gaurds and nerfbars.Dark green and chrome. The place was Tootgarook Vic Australia.
Its been in my head all these years so i guess that makes
me a rod-nut.Now i live in Europe and drive a 32 ford
Tudor(RESTO) Projects are 34 GAZ (RUSSIAN FORD) and a
Topolino that one day will get its 6 carbed V6 alfa engine
fitted.1917 Dodge pheaton and an A40 austin convertible are
waiting as well.Promised the wife to finish the house first,
That was 15 years ago and it still ain,t done.

Ya gotta realize though, that in Australia, (and in the Netherlands, and parts of Montana, and most of New Zealand, I've heard) being called a Bugger is way higher on the social ladder than being called a common Sheep Fucker! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Welcome to the HAMB and get some more shots of that Rusky Ford to show us please! Scratch that, I see you're posting them as I type!

I saw "GAZ" and I saw bugger and I thought "Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!" http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I see I was wrong on the Gaz bit (for all you Seppos, Gaz is short for Gary... as Daz is for Darren and Waz is for Warren... you get my drift).

There's plenty of other Aussie Mexicans on here, you might even know some of them.

Welcome to the HAMB.

Hi and welcome old bugger! I'll become one in two months....started a few years ago scrounging up parts for my first car (hence the name).
Had never heard of a "Gaz"! (Why I love the HAMB!)
Yeah, lots of ground clearance on that thing....(I'm thinking 4x4 drivetrain http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif) Nice grille...wheels...and I'd KEEP that funky steering wheel (real ones have 4 spokes!) Not only that, it's got a HEATER! Canadians have an eye for those things. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hi flatordead, thanks for the extra photo,s. If anyone
takes the time to count the hood louvres they,re in for
a surprise. The GAZ cars came with a straight 6. Plenty of
room for a V8 under there.

Hard case Gaz, its amazing what turns up where, I hooked up with a guy in the UK Holden club when over there 12 or so years ago, was a bit weird, saw a couple of Valiants and an Aussie early 70's LTD too, it was sticking out about 18 inches wider then the other cars parked on the side of the road in london http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
