My son has been waiting since last week for this. He has been wanting to post some of his art work on the HAMB for a while now but has been either too nervous or too shy to let me do this ...for fear of "What if the guys from the HAMB don't like it"...I finally convinced him to do it so We hope you guys like his drawings.

(brief intro...Gabriel is 11 years old and he lives and breathes old cars/trucks. Rods,Customs,Muscle cars, Choppers you name it he loves them. Gabriel has Muscular Dystrophy so he spends his whole day in his wheel chair; so while other kids his age are outside playing he is inside reading car magazines or drawing or surfing car related web sites. Especially the HAMB)

TD,
Please tell your son that we think his work is cool! And tell him not to be shy about posting- there are many friends to be made here who enjoy art and who can teach art tips to younger artists....best of luck with what you enjoy Gabe!

Best,
Johnny & Kali

This week is another ordered Desk Top Art Work, almost completed. This one is #39 and is about 9 1/2" long, about 4" wide and about 3 1/2" high. This slammer has no drive train and is entirely hand formed 20 G sheet metal. It will be shipped in bare steel.

I'm posting up a couple of pics of Desk Top Art Work from two weeks ago that got zapped in the HAMB crash. Both of these were ordered cars as well. The first one (2nd?) is a duece roadster pickup, #37.

The last one is a duece Hi Boy coupe, #38.

So far, the late 30 to late 40 cars are the hardest ones to make because of all the compound curves in the body work. It's a pain in the ass to try to keep these little bodies some what smooth when you are hammering them out on on a block of wood to form them. Gene

Gabriel, I love it! You did an awesome job. That needs to be framed and hanging on your bedroom wall. Either that or on the fridge, dead-center, where all great artwork belongs!

Can I ask you how much you would charge to do an artist rendering of my Big Olds??? He's coming home with fresh paint on him and I would really love a drawing of him from you. Please PM with a price and I can reply with a photo or two for you too see what he looks like.

Thank you for sharing your work with us.

You all are really cool...This is what being a HAMBer is all about. I sincerely thank you for making my son so happy...now we can say that he is a junior HAMBer. There will be more pics coming I promise... cuz after this he is really feeling confident about his work.
