The top has been cut from my car as of Sunday. Only owned it an hour and out came the saw. Lost 6 and 1/8 inches from the front pillers this gives me about 11 inches of windsheild. I am going to have to try and cut my front glass does anyone have any suggestions. I have heard of the sand blast and cut method does this work good? I will have pics of the early stages of the chop developed today but I don't have software that I can shrink the photo file enough to show a good view of the car. If someone has software to do this with I would e-mail it to them if they would like to help me get them posted. The car is a 1953 chevy 210 4 door. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I've measured up those 56's for a chop when I did mine and could only go 5 1/4 inches and still get the windshield to fit. I didn't have the ball and chopped mine 5 you'll most likely have to massage the body a little more to get the windshield to fit. and maybe you need to think of something like a upside down 50 backglass to close that hole! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Sorry about not haveing the pics yet will email pakrat tomarrow with the pics. I should have about 9 inches of glass in front when the trim and all are finished. I got myself a 47 pontiac fast back back glass for it, this weekend and we should start on that tonight. I also removed the front cap and replaced it with a 1950 front cap(not finished yet). The car should look really cool when finished.
