Hi guys, wondered if anyone had any photos of Isky's T roadster. I have seen it in the magazines and wondered what else was out there.

I've got some I took of it at the NHRA museum last month but I don't think I've even downloaded them off my camera. Anything in particular you're looking for?

Right now, they have it more out in the open where you can get some good pics of it. I just went out to my Jeep to retrieve my camera. It is getting late so I don't know if I can get them up tonight.

Rather than going through all my pics and getting them fixed up then resizing them so I could put them up here, I just grabbed the 4 pics I have of the T and put them up on my Fotki web album. They'll only be there temporarily but it will be at least a week or so... more likely when I get off my lazy butt and process all my pics.

First proper Hot Rod mag I bought (as a kid) was the HOT ROD 25 years anniversary edition. It showed that car covered in boxes and crap, they dragged it out with a couple of trolley jacks and cranked it up. I vaguely remember they persueded Isky to give it a spin round the block, there was a pic of him in the old car with a mile wide grin, cigar stub clenched between his teeth.
Could this have been the defining moment that turned me onto Hot Rods?
I think it may be.

i read in street rodder a few years back that Isky drove that car to the L.A.roadster's show and the guy at the gate turned him away cuz his car was too ratty,talk about the ultimate in gold-chainer arrogance/ignorance!!!

Does anyone repop that radiator cap? I think they called them "YAPPYS", the skull with the flowing hair and moveable jaw bone.......OLDBEET

If I remember correctly, Isky cast up the rad cap hisself.

I have the pat Ganahl hot rod video where they do an interview with sky and he tells about the car...then he fires it up ....pure lust!
I really need to find that video in my colection of junk...great stuff!

Rix2Six, K-MEMBER has one on his cowl, hair was broken off when he got it and lost the jaw after he rolled comin back from B'Ville a few years ago. Sure would like to find another......Anyone?.....THANX....OLDBEET
