50 Stude? No that'll never work, better bring it to me. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I don't care for 4 doors, but a bullet nose would be one more door I could get into. Lets see some pictures.

Haha, I love that fugly thing, -the Modern Grecian that is. Seriously, if you are building a 4d Stude, you should take a look at it in its earlier, more sober configuration; when it was just The Grecian. Lots of neat details, if not perfect proportions..I dont have any pics handy, but Im sure others have it.
Oh and on my top five over HAMB-cars, there are two fourdoors... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I also have a web site devoted to Bullet Nosed cars and you may find some ideas there. The URL is Bullet Nose Paradise (http://www.citlink.net/~junge/)
I have never seen another 4 Door Stude at the many car shows I have attended. Why build something that everyone else has? Be different!

Here's a kool '50 Buick quad cab from the West Coast. It's got an F-body clip, SBC/auto, and bags. It looks more modern than traditional, but a set of steelies and wide whites to replace the billets would fix that. The champagne color looks good.

Nice job on the scallops, Hami. What happened to the trim rings? I think the trim rings would add a nice subtle touch of chrome to break up all the blue and white...not that you asked. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Either way...you've made something cool outta that more door.

Young, your Stude is bitchin. If it was mine, I'd lose the ft bumper, shave most of the chrome, maybe change the headlight doors to something smaller, and drop it hard. 2" ain't enough! 2 or 3 inches out of the top wouldn't hurt, if your up to it!
lose the front bumper, shave all the doors and switch the head lights out for the buick 53/4 tear drops:)
and lower to taste, maybe big inch steelies in like a tan color? or maybe that bright greent hat seems to be so popular
just thoughts

I was thinking about that to, Boones. In other photos that rear wing window doesn't look too bad, but it still doesn't.. flow, like you said. Been trying to think of a creative way of removing it that doesn't cost money.
And that was before I lowered it... the front was the only think done. Those goddamn cars had a 9 inch clearence, stock! Like a freakin' truck.
And how about a 4 door truck? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

ditto what Hamilton said. May not be cool, but I like it, and its a four door lowered. Note the WWW have been replaced with 1/12 Broadway classics, and it loooks way better now that I see the old pics of WWW.

I've said it once and I'll say it again:
It's not about how many doors, how cool your paint is, how much HP it makes, or how shiney the chrome is. It's about stance!
Take a sorry ass'd, crusty four door, airbag it, powdercoat the wheels and get some nice caps, wide whites, and your golden.

Last night, I found a '68 Olds 98, here in town. It's a four door hardtop and one of the bigest boats around. What do you all think of those "newer" models?
Bigcheese327
04-12-2006, 06:48 AM
I like them, but not as well as the cleaner cut cars built prior to 1965. I suspect that or outright hatred is the prevalent feeling here, since cars built after 1964 are generally not considered to be HAMB material.
